There was no Christmas tree this year, nor carved pumpkins or Easter Eggs. We didn’t eat turkey on thanksgiving, and we didn’t watch the ball drop in New York City. However, I think I can speak for all of SYA SPAIN 2011-2012 when I say that we don’t feel like we missed a thing. A year of discovery abroad ends today, but its effects will echo throughout the rest of our lives. Un abrazo, España.
My year in Spain ends today. Thank you to the Lord for bringing me to this opportunity, and then getting me through it as better, more joyful, person.
